Graphic Capabilities

ARTWORK:
Our Graphics Department provides complete support for variable image formatting, electronic file creation, and standard art creation. We can accept files created by Freehand, Illustrator, Quark, and Photoshop. We accept customer files via Floppy disk, Zip Disk, CD-ROM, or email/FTP. Traditional artwork can be converted into plates from camera-ready art or usable electronic files supplied to us. A stat or electronic print with a minimum of 600 DPI resolution is recommended. Our Macintosh capabilities combined with color scanning enables our in-house Graphics Department to better meet your needs, thereby providing you with the quality and timely service you require.

PRINTING:
Pointil Systems utilizes web flexographic printing with aqueous heat set and UV inks. Six-color printing (including 4 color process and UV varnish) is available with a 13- inch maximum print width. Maximum screen value is 175 lines per inch. Backprinting is available. Screens within colors may require a separate plate. Reinsertion capability is available.

SPECIALTY COATING:
CB and CF carbonless zone coating, UV coating, scratch-off coating, and thermo-chromic coating are available.
